Courtenay really loved a few pieces I had done and was looking for something similar in spirit to showcase in your living room, along with the rest of her collection. What I created for her was a bespoke piece that really took into account the colors and elements the painting would be surrounded by. I weaved attributes from her other artwork so that it would create a visual dialogue between all of them.
Fun Fact: This was created at the height of the pandemic so I worked with photos Courtenay sent me of her living room and art collection. All of the color matching was done remotely!
